I haven't been able to do to much with this in my teaching at EMU because the whole thing is new to me and I'm kind of just learning the ropes; I hope next year to really implement some kind of space for students to ask questions and hold discussions online. I'm not sure the switch in roles bothers me that much as I think it depends on how you meet the student's overtures. However, the way to handle that sort of thing online is definitely something teachers should address and try to work out for themselves.
